Song of the Month
Whatever I Can, written by WYH founders Larry Thompson and Rick Beneteau in the 1980’s, lyrically started out as a strictly romantic song. Several years later when Larry’s idea of Music That Matters took seed, both writers felt the song title and music lent themselves to a universal and inspirational anthem. The original version was rebuilt and mixed in late 2022. The original singer, John Theaker – a Wishing You Hope Partner – re-sang the lead vocal and WYH Partner Cheryl Hardy‘s background vocals remained in the closing choruses. Lyric appears below player.
